Hey y’all! We are Demetric and Cara, and we both share passions in the health and fitness world. We have a desire to impact people’s lives by reconstructing their state of mind. Encouraging others to find their light source so they can be a light to others is one of our missions. Did you know that being healthy and happy is contagious? As you develop, the people around you will want to do the same.
Demetric is a former college athlete, and has been in the fitness arena since 2006. He has been involved in many roles ranging from personal trainer to gym general manager. Cara is a graduate of Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy, and has been practicing pharmacy since 2010. We decided to combine our knowledge and passion for empowering people, and Lighthouse for Health & Wellness was the result. We want to help you PUSH past all of the things you thought you could not do for your health, just like we have had to do for ourselves. We are so excited, and look forward to PUSHing with you.

Demetric Curry is the Co-Owner and Lead Trainer of Lighthouse for Health and Wellness. With a background in fitness and a passion for helping others, his experience dates back to his time playing college football at Florida State University. He gained certification as a personal trainer and went on to work in various fitness positions. Demetric is not only passionate about training, but also about God and sports. He enjoys playing fantasy football and using his creativity to develop effective workouts. Now, he is ready to motivate and push others towards their fitness goals.
Coach Cara
Cara Curry is Co-Owner and Lifestyle Coach at Lighthouse for Health & Wellness. Cara has her doctorate in pharmacy from the Florida A&M University (Go FAMU) and her Masters in business from Saint Leo University. She has always been passionate about health and healing, but struggled in many areas herself. Cara struggled with self-image, confidence, depression, and her health. As she began to focus on her health and living a healthier lifestyle, she discovered what she truly wanted to do for others. Teach others how to take control of their health through fitness, nutrition, and all around healthier way of living. Cara was able to take control of her mental and physical health with God and proper self-care. Now she wants to help you do the same.
